St Yazin came on nicely following a rail's run in midfield to wear down Giddy Giddy for a return to the winner's circle following a vital drop in grade. It will be harder with a return to Class Four. Giddy Giddy showed good speed to lead from a wide gate and grudgingly gave way late. He does seem to act best on the wet ground. Favourite Perfect Smart was given every chance in second along the fence. Showing Character ran on reasonably well after settling beyond midfield from a wide gate. From a good gate, he'll be hard to keep out of the finish in a Valley sprint. Safari Magic made ground without menacing from the rear. The shorter trip and a wet track weren't in his favour. Innovative Winner looks interesting when stepping out over a longer trip next time out after making ground near the inside after travelling second from the rear in his first start of the season.

Racing Incident Report

Race One: (113)-TAI LAM CHUNG HANDICAP - Class 5 - 1000Metres

NOBLE BUDDIES was slow to begin.

INNOVATIVE WINNER began only fairly.

O'SOCOOLE was crowded for room on jumping between MAJOR CONNECTION and ALL TOGETHER whish shifted out.

In this incident, MAJOR CONNECTION became unbalanced after bumping with O'SOCOOLE.

SAFARI MAGIC and SHOWING CHARACTER bumped at the start.

After this, SHOWING CHARACTER was shifted across behind runners.

Passing the 950 Metres, O'SOCOOLE shifted out and bumped MAJOR CONNECTION.

Making the first turn, ALL TOGETHER shifted out and bumped O'SOCOOLE.

MAJOR CONNECTION, which was following ALL TOGETHER, shifted in away from the heels of that horse, resulting in ST YAZIN being momentarily crowded for room.

After this, MAJOR CONNECTION raced close to the heels of ALL TOGETHER.

Making the turn after the 600 Metres, INNOVATIVE WINNER lost ground when crowded for room between SHOWING CHARACTER and NOBLE BUDDIES which shifted out marginally.

Passing the 300 Metres, MAJOR CONNECTION and GOOD LUCK MAN raced tight as MAJOR CONNECTION attempted to shift to the outside of O'SOCOOLE.

Throughout the race, O'SOCOOLE travelled wide and without cover.

ST YAZIN and GIDDY GIDDY were sent for sampling.
