Recap by phillip woo
Nitro Express relished a return to the Valley and step to a mile to easily get up 120m out following a patient ride at the tail of the field. Over this course, he might be able to score another over a mile and possibly 1,800m. Industrialist Way kept grinding away to easily hold second following a box-seat run. He's was racing fit with three runs already this term. Enormous Honour kept on for a placing but did have every chance following a prominent run with cover. Classic Emperor was surprisingly weak after stalking the slow fractions of Cheerful Boy. He appears to be on his mark following a win back in June. Rolled-up in betting to start favourite, Royal Partner had nothing in the tank after travelling without cover the entire trip in midfield. He can be forgiven for the run.
