Racing Incident Report
Race Nine: (027)-THE KWANGTUNG HANDICAP CUP (HANDICAP) - Class 1 - 1400Metres
JUN HUO and ALL YOU WISH began only fairly.Shortly after the start, JUN HUO was steadied when crowded for room between HORSE OF FORTUNE and I'M IN CHARGE (C Y Ho) which shifted in.
C Y Ho was reprimanded and advised to ensure that he leaves sufficient racing room for runners to his inside in similar circumstances.
From a wide barrier, SERGEANT TITANIUM, after initially being ridden along, was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Making the first turn near the 900 Metres, ROMANTIC TOUCH was steadied away from the heels of TWIN DELIGHT (K C Leung) which shifted in when not sufficiently clear.
K C Leung was severely reprimanded and advised to ensure that he is properly clear when shifting ground in similar circumstances.
ALL YOU WISH had difficulty obtaining clear running in the early part of the Straight.
Near the 250 Metres, JUN HUO raced tight between BORN IN CHINA and PACKING LLAREGYB which got its head on the side and shifted out under pressure.
Passing the 200 Metres, JUN HUO and BORN IN CHINA were steadied when momentarily crowded for room between PACKING LLAREGYB and JOYFUL TRINITY (J Moreira) which shifted in.
J Moreira was advised to exercise more care.
Close to the finishing line, ROMANTIC TOUCH raced in restricted room between JOYFUL TRINITY and TWIN DELIGHT, both of which shifted ground.
In this incident, J Moreira was obliged to straighten JOYFUL TRINITY.
Throughout the race, BORN IN CHINA and PACKING LLAREGYB travelled wide and without cover.
After the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that JUN HUO was lame in its right front leg.
Before being allowed to race again, JUN HUO will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
A veterinary inspection of BORN IN CHINA immediately following the race found that horse to be lame in its left front leg.
Before being allowed to race again, BORN IN CHINA will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
TWIN DELIGHT and JOYFUL TRINITY were sent for sampling.

Twin Delight shared the lead from a wide gate, went clear 300m out and kept finding when headed 100m out to get the bob in a boil-over result. He'll have to play the ratings game and wait his turn again. Raging favourite Joyful Trinity really flew late from near the back to make it tight on the wire. He lost no admirers in defeat and is still the one to follow from the race. I'm In Charge briefly hit the front 100m out following a box-seat run and found a couple just too good in the end. Romantic Touch kept on well following a prominent run. He prefers a longer trip. All You Wish had no excuse in midfield. Sergeant Titanium made ground from the rear over an unsuitable trip. Born In China covered ground and did cop a check 200m out. Packing Llaregyb peaked on his move from midfield 100m out.
