Recap by phillip woo
Punted late Peniaphobia reclaimed the lead 400m out after handing up the front to Fabulous One 1,050m out and kept on gamely for a second win from eight starts this term. Favourite Amazing Kids was chipping away at the winner's margin with two wider out after travelling one off the fence in midfield. Domineer stayed on nicely one off the fence after travelling fourth to grab a placing 80m out. Charles The Great just out-finished stablemate Not Listenin'tome for fourth following a patient ride third from the rear from a wide gate. Not Listenin'tome only held his ground following a prominent run. The weigh was too much to overcome. Fabulous One punched to a clear lead 1,000m out, had his margin reduced to a length entering the straight and was stopping 100m out. Both Born In China and Divine Boy made no impression from the back.
