Racing Incident Report
Race One: (601)-BERING SEA PLATE - Griffin Race - 1000Metres
LOOK ERAS blundered on jumping.DON WONGCHOY bounded in the air at the start and lost ground.
STRATHCLYDE was slow to begin and shortly after the start was steadied away from the heels of BEAR CHUM which shifted out abruptly.
BEAR CHUM then continued to shift out and bumped LOOK ERAS.
Approaching the 600 Metres, STRATHCLYDE was awkwardly placed inside the heels of BEAR CHUM.
Approaching the 400 Metres, FRUITION raced tight between STRATHCLYDE and ARM RUNDA which shifted out.
BEAR CHUM and LOOK ERAS were sent for sampling.

Bear Chum led despite breaking sharply left at the jump, was headed for the lead 250m out by Arm Runda and fought back gamely to reclaim victory 100m out to to turn the tables on raging favourite Look Eras who copped a slight bump by the winner at the start but kept grinding away on the stands side after recovering to sit outside the leader 600m out. Arm Runda travelled one from the far side in the centre of the track, poked his head on top at the 200m and just weakened in the final few metres. Don Wongchoy made some ground to finish a distant fourth after making his run on the far side following a sluggish break. Holy Unicorn struggled to stay in touch at the rear and only got by beaten rivals. He'll want further in time. Newcomer Strathclyde yielded ground 300m out following a prominent run. Debutant Fruition weakened tamely after showing gate speed travelling outside Arm Runda until the 600m.
