Raging favourite Mr Stunning eased back to hold the fence in fourth after showing good gate speed, stayed near the inside upon straightening and quickened nicely to win going away 200m out to remain unbeaten in two outings. He'll be heading a lot higher. Mr Ginger settled one off the fence worse than midfield, angled into the open with two wider out at the 200m and finished willingly to grab second 30m out. Sea Warrior stayed on reasonably well near the inside following a rails run in midfield to grab a placing. Noble Buddies edged out second-favourite I'm A Witness following a handy run with cover for a Quartet spot. I'm A Witness pressed forward one off the fence to sit underneath Travel Number One for the front at the 1,000m, raced to the lead soon after straightening and was giving ground inside the final 100m. It was a disappointing run in a slowly run race. Specked late, Fairy Eagle settled one off the fence in third, straightened five deep and kept plugging away to just miss a pay cheque. Letsgofree made some ground near the inside after travelling second from the rear in an improved run despite an unfavourable pace. Racing Incident Report

Race Three: (428)-VILLAGE HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Metres

FAIRY EAGLE began awkwardly and shifted in, resulting in LETSGOFREE being crowded for room outside SEA WARRIOR.

FAIRY EAGLE continued to shift in and shortly after the start bumped SEA WARRIOR.

SECRET AGENT began very awkwardly, shifted out and bumped the hindquarters of I'M A WITNESS, causing SECRET AGENT to become badly unbalanced and to stumble.

From wide barriers, EXCELLENT FORTUNE and DEJA VU were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Near the 1150 Metres, NOBLE BUDDIES got its head up when being steadied away from the heels of I'M A WITNESS which shifted out.

After the 900 Metres, FAIRY EAGLE shifted ground on a number of occasions when racing keenly.

Making the turn after the 600 Metres, BO DUKE got its head up when awkwardly placed close to the heels of MR GINGER.

Approaching the 200 Metres, Apprentice H N Wong (TRAVEL NUMBER ONE) dropped his whip.

Apprentice Wong was advised that as this was the third occasion that he had dropped his whip in races during the current season, should he come to notice in the near future regarding this matter, further action may be taken.

Passing the 200 Metres, NOBLE BUDDIES was struck over the nose by the whip of N Callan (FAIRY EAGLE).

After the 200 Metres, SEA WARRIOR was shifted in away from the heels of I'M A WITNESS.

A veterinary inspection of BO DUKE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

MR STUNNING and MR GINGER were sent for sampling.
