Racing Incident Report
Race Four: (401)-IRIS HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1800Metres
When being saddled, RAPID TRIUMPH lost its right front plate.After being replated, RAPID TRIUMPH was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said in his opinion it was suitable to race.
ROUGE ET BLANC began only fairly and then after being ridden along for a short distance was crowded for room between GOOD GOOD VIEW and LUCKY BALL which shifted in.
WIN ALONG was slow to begin.
From wide barriers, ROCK THE TREE and PRINCE FALCON were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
After the 1400 Metres, SUPERKING DRAGON and PRINCE FALCON were left racing wide and without cover.
Passing the 300 Metres, ROUGE ET BLANC and WIN ALONG raced tight.
Near the 200 Metres, ROUGE ET BLANC was momentarily crowded for room between AMBASSADORSHIP and RAPID TRIUMPH which shifted out before being directed back in to relieve the tightening to ROUGE ET BLANC.
Passing the 100 Metres, N Rawiller (MIDNITE PROMISE) momentarily dropped his right rein.
A veterinary inspection of CASH COURIER immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
A veterinary inspection of LUCKY BALL immediately following the race did not show any significant findings, however, the horse was unable to be scoped due to being fractious.
BEAUTY LOVE and MIDNITE PROMISE were sent for sampling.

Beauty Love travelled comfortably in the run one off the fence in second from a wide gate, worked to the front 200m out and kept on gamely for a maiden win at his fourth start. He has more to come. Midnite Promise settled fourth along the fence, straightened near four deep and ran on well to grab second 80m out. Rapid Triumph ran on well three deep after saving ground in midfield to grab a placing in the final few metres. Good Good View came on near the inside from the rear of the field to just miss a placing. Mister Marc set an even pace on the lead, cornered a length on top and knocked up 50m out. Rouge Et Blanc was closing off nicely five deep after travelling second from the rear. Kerkeni made some ground without menacing after peeling into the open with three wider out at the 350m following a one-off run behind midfield. Old-timer Win Along was drifting about under pressure while making a steady bid without threatening after saving ground behind midfield. He'll be winning shortly if he can get a stronger rider on his back. Cash Courier only held his ground after a deep run with cover beyond midfield. Lucky Ball didn't lift following a one-off run in midfield with a return to Class Four.
