Racing Incident Report
Race Six: (392)-FAT CHOI HANDICAP (Sec2) - Class 3 - 1200Metres
After being loaded, ALL TOGETHER reared abruptly and then sat down before becoming cast.ALL TOGETHER was removed from the barriers and examined by the Veterinary Officer who said the horse had blood at the right nostril and was not suitable to race.
Accordingly ALL TOGETHER was withdrawn by order of the Stewards.
A subsequent endoscopic examination revealed that ALL TOGETHER not to have blood in its trachea and accordingly was not deemed to have bled.
Before being allowed to race again, ALL TOGETHER will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
FOREVER RED and TRILLION TREASURE, which were in the stalls adjoining to that occupied by ALL TOGETHER, were also removed from the barriers and examined by the Veterinary Officer who said both horses were suitable to race.
CHOICE TREASURE shifted in at the start, resulting in TANGO FIRE being taken in onto FOREVER RED.
A short distance after this, TANGO FIRE shifted out, resulting in CHOICE TREASURE being steadied away from the heels of TANGO FIRE and losing ground.
HEARTS KEEPER shifted out at the start and bumped CHEVALIER STAR.
From a wide barrier, HAYMAKER was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
TANGO FIRE lost its right hind plate at the 950 Metres.
Making the first turn near the 900 Metres, TANGO FIRE was awkwardly placed close to the heels of FOREVER RED which got its head up when being checked away from the heels of TRILLION TREASURE.
Passing the 700 Metres, MEDIC KINGDOM got its head up when proving difficult to settle.
Passing the 600 Metres, MEDIC KINGDOM lost ground when crowded for room inside HAYMAKER which got its head on the side and shifted in away from CHOICE TREASURE.
Rounding the Home Turn, TRILLION TREASURE was awkwardly placed inside the heels of ALL MY GAIN.
Approaching the 100 Metres, CHOICE TREASURE was shifted out away from the heels of FOREVER RED.
Throughout the race, ALL MY GAIN travelled wide and without cover.
A veterinary inspection of TRILLION TREASURE and HAYMAKER immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
A veterinary inspection of MEDIC KINGDOM immediately following the race including an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of mucus in the horse's trachea.
FOREVER RED, CHEVALIER STAR and DA VINCI were sent for sampling.

Chevalier Star enjoyed a soft time after leading from a wide gate, cornered narrowly on top from All My Gain and kept finding to repel the challenge of Da Vinci to land a betting move. Da Vinci travelled on the back of the leader on the fence, launched his challenge one off and couldn't pull back the winner. Sensationally-backed, All My Gain pressed forward to nearly share the lead rounding the final bend after a prominent run without cover the entire trip and came up one-paced over the last 100m. Choice Treasure rallied with two wider out after travelling third from the rear to wear down favourite Forever Red for a Quartet spot. Forever Red, who has to be vetted prior to the start, came up flat five deep following a handy run with cover after two Valley wins. Tango Fire only held his ground when asked for a response two from the right after a one-off run travelling behind midfield. Victory Following Me kept on all right following a rails run in midfield after a sluggish break in his debut. Haymaker only got by beaten rivals after travelling second from the rear. He'll be looking forward to a drop back into Class Four.
