Late-plunged favourite Raging Bull was ridden a shade quieter travelling fore of midfield one off the fence following a gear change, shifted out four deep for a clear run at the 400m and quickened nicely to take control 160m out for a maiden win at his eighth start. He's ready to head higher now. Thunder Dash travelled near the back, straightened near four deep and finished nicely to grab early favourite Shining Champion for second close to home. Shining Champion sat outside the leader Heavenly Masters, advanced to the front 300m out and grudgingly gave way over the last 100m. King's Dagger settled near the inside in midfield, pushed into the open with three wider out at the 400m and ran on steadily to just get up for a Quartet spot ahead of Gorgeous Legend who was making a good bid two off the fence after travelling beyond midfield with a drop in grade. Early favourite Born Dragon pulled out three deep following a handy run at the 300m, switched further out at the 150m and came up one-paced over the last 100m. He's still learning. Heavenly Masters was dropping off 150m out after turning the final bend a half-length on top. Debutant World Record was never on the track near the speed and was gone 200m out.

Racing Incident Report

Race One: (310)-YIN KONG HANDICAP (Sec1) - Class 4 - 1200Metres

BORN DRAGON and KING'S DAGGER bumped at the start.

A short distance later, BORN DRAGON was again bumped by KING'S DAGGER which was taken in by GORGEOUS LEGEND.

SHOW MISSION began awkwardly.

Shortly after the start, THUNDER DASH was steadied and shifted across behind runners.

From the outside barrier, SUPER SWEET ORANGE was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Approaching the 1100 Metres, BORN DRAGON raced tight between KING'S DAGGER and SHINING CHAMPION, both of which shifted ground.

Shortly after entering the Straight, SHOW MISSION was bumped by KING'S DAGGER which shifted out to obtain clear running.

GOLDEN CANNON was taken wider as a consequence.

GOLDEN CANNON lay in under pressure in the Straight.

Throughout the race, WORLD RECORD travelled wide and without cover.

A veterinary inspection of HEAVENLY MASTERS immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

RAGING BULL and THUNDER DASH were sent for sampling.
