Racing Incident Report
Race One: (216)-BELLFLOWER HANDICAP - Class 5 - 1000Metres
Shortly after the start, COPY STAR was crowded for room between DRAGON GLORY which began awkwardly and JADE PIPPO which shifted out.JADE PIPPO lost its left front plate shortly after the start.
From wide barriers, SAFARI MAGIC and BERNARD'S CHOICE were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Approaching the 800 Metres, JADE PIPPO momentarily raced in restricted room between FOREVER FUN and SPURS ON, both of which shifted ground.
At the 600 Metres, SAFARI MAGIC was checked and lost ground when crowded for room inside DRAGON GLORY which got its head on the side and lay in despite the efforts of its rider.
Also at the 600 Metres, DELIGHT FORTUNE was left racing wide and without cover.
Making the turn after the 600 Metres, JADE PIPPO was awkwardly placed close to the heels of FOREVER FUN.
Near the 50 Metres, SPURS ON was inconvenienced by FOREVER FUN which shifted in before being straightened by its rider.
Over the concluding stages, DRAGON GLORY was awkwardly placed close to the heels of GOLDEN CHOICE and consequently was not able to be ridden all the way to the end of the race.
A veterinary inspection of DELIGHT FORTUNE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
PEACE COMBINATION and FOREVER FUN were sent for sampling.

Post-time favourite Peace Combination sat second in the run along the fence after jumping alertly, reclaimed the front 250m out and edged clear for a maiden win at his 11th time of asking with a key drop in grade. Forever Fun settled one off the fence fore of midfield, swung the final bend with three wider out and finished well to snatch second 20m out. Heartland held the fence in fourth, straightened four deep and stayed on well to just wear down Golden Choice for a placing. Golden Choice was driven forward from a wide gate to clear Peace Combination for the lead, cornered a length on top and was grudgingly giving way over the final 100m. Early favourite Spurs On travelled one off the fence in third, straightened five deep and only plodded with every chance over the last 150m. It was a disappointing effort despite a drop in grade. Safari Magic was taken back to find the rails from a wide gate third from the rear at the 800m, stayed to the inside upon straightening and ran on steadily without menacing. He might be better suited over the 1,200m. Jade Pippo settled one off the fence in midfield, swung the final bend with two wider out and only kept on an even gallop.
