Racing Incident Report
Race Five: (033)-THE COMMUNITY CHEST CUP (HANDICAP) - Class 3 - 1650Metres
BEST TANGO was withdrawn on 15.9.15 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (swollen right fore tendon).Before being allowed to race again, BEST TANGO will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
YOUNG RANGER shifted out at the start and hampered HAPPY CONTENDER.
After this, HAPPY CONTENDER was shifted across behind runners.
HORSE OF FORTUNE and BEST SHOW bumped on two occasions shortly after the start, resulting in both horses becoming unbalanced.
IMPERIAL CONCORDE was steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners.
Passing the winning post on the first occasion, TRUMP was steadied away from the heels of ROBUST MOMENTUM (C Y Ho) which shifted in when not properly clear.
C Y Ho was reprimanded and advised to ensure that he is sufficiently clear when shifting ground in similar circumstances.
After the 1100 Metres, YOUNG RANGER got its head up when being steadied to allow ROBUST MOMENTUM to cross.
Approaching the 200 Metres, GOLDLAND DANCER was bumped by ROYAL PARTNER which shifted out from behind TRUMP to obtain clear running.
Passing the 150 Metres, HORSE OF FORTUNE was awkwardly placed inside ROBUST MOMENTUM and behind YOUNG RANGER.
A veterinary inspection of TRUMP and ROBUST MOMENTUM immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
ROYAL PARTNER, YOUNG RANGER and LITTLE DRAGON were sent for sampling.

Young Ranger handed up the lead to sit in the box-seat, stayed to the inside upon straightening and got up 150m out for a second straight win despite a rise in class. Little Dragon rolled forward from a wide gate to eventually settle one off in second outside Robust Momentum, straightened four deep and kept up a good gallop for second. Horse Of Fortune settled three back along the paint, cornered three deep and was closing the gap late. He wasn't suited by the pace. Favourite Royal Partner made his run behind Horse Of Fortune along the fence, shifted out sharply five deep for a run at the 250m and was closing the gap late. He too was beaten by the pace. Goldland Dancer travelled one off the fence in midfield, had his momentum checked when copping a bump 250m out and kept on evenly thereafter. He'll be one to keep safe with a return to the dirt. Trump came up flat in the drive following a one-out, one-back run. Robust Momentum was stopping 150m out despite setting a sedate pace after clearing for the lead from a wide gate at the 1,200m. He wasn't up to the task with a rise in class. Specked late, Best Show never got going from near the back.
