Racing Incident Report
Race Five: (005)-LUNG WUI HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Metres
DISTINCT COMMANDER, which was fractious in the barriers, began awkwardly and lost ground.MAGICAL BEAUTY began awkwardly and shortly after the start became unbalanced when crowded for room between AH BO and FUN TAPESTRY which shifted out.
From wide barriers, GOLDEN GUNNERS and THUNDER DASH were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Making the first turn after the 900 Metres, HURRY HURRY UP raced tight inside METALLIC STAR which was awkwardly placed inside the heels of LONDON CITY.
After the 700 Metres, AH BO got its head on the side and lay out.
Near the 100 Metres, MAGICAL BEAUTY got its head on the side and shifted in, resulting in its rider, N Callan, having to stop riding and straighten his mount.
Throughout the race, DIAMOND KING travelled wide and without cover.
A veterinary inspection of METALLIC STAR immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
MAGICAL BEAUTY, DIAMOND KING and FUN TAPESTRY were sent for sampling.

Living up to a good trial, Diamond King defied a deep run without cover in fourth from a wide gate to wear down Fun Tapestry 50m out for a first win at his third outing. Fun Tapestry enjoyed a lovely run on the back of the speed, worked to the front 220m out and found one better in the end. Ah Bo made his run one off the fence beyond midfield, straightened with one wider out and finished well for a placing. Favourite Magical Beauty travelled one off the fence in midfield, rallied five deep and kept grinding away without threatening to place. Star Of Wai Bo weakened 100m out after stalking the leader Super King Star. Distinct Commander made some ground widest out from near the back after rearing at the jump. London City had clear running five deep following a one-out, one-back trip but failed to lift when popped the question. Metallic Star saved ground in midfield, was short of room early straight and didn't lift when a gap opened 150m out. Super King Star was knocking up passing the 200m after cornering a length on top.
