Favourite Bamboo Dance settled behind midfield and one off the rails, stayed to the inside upon straightening and finished willingly to run down leader Bright Concept 20m out for a second straight win. Plunged late, Bright Concept was gifted an easy lead from a wide gate, cornered near two lengths on top and kept on gamely in a good performance following a stable change. Zachary rolled forward deep from a wide gate to land a one-off position in second at the 1,150m, cornered three deep and only held his ground over the final 150m. Southchina Command plugged on evenly four deep in the drive to the wire following a prominent run along the rails. Telecom Prince was ridden early on to hold a position along the rail's in midfield, rallied five deep upon straightening and made some ground without menacing. Forest Colours made his run second from the rear, swung the final bend with two wider out and got going when the race was all but over.

Racing Incident Report

Race One: (708)-BEIJING CLUBHOUSE HANDICAP - Class 5 - 1600Metres

SUPER HORSE was very slow to begin.

From a wide barrier, NAMJONG SURPRISE was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

SOUTHCHINA COMMAND lost its right front plate approaching the 1400 Metres.

Near the 900 Metres, ALL PALS was left racing wide and without cover.

Approaching the 300 Metres, ALL PALS got its head on the side, shifted in and was awkwardly placed close to the heels of BLACK STAR which shifted out marginally.

GOOD FRIENDS MAGIC lost its right front plate near the 400 Metres.

H W Lai (HOLY MAC) was severely reprimanded for using his whip on a horse out of contention.

BAMBOO DANCE and BRIGHT CONCEPT were sent for sampling.
