Spicy Sure tracked the speed three deep without cover, advanced to the front four deep at the 250m and kept on gamely to open his win account at his fourth start in a very good time with a step up in distance. He remains one to follow. Sensationally-backed late, Circuit Land travelled behind midfield along the rails after a sluggish break, was briefly held up upon straightening, worked into the clear 350m out and closed off nicely to run down favourite Amazing Kids for second. He'll be winning shortly. Amazing Kids sat on the back of Spicy Sure in midfield from a wide gate, rounded the final bend five deep and stayed on reasonably well. Noble Alpha settled three back along the fence, straightened four deep and kept plugging away to finish a clear-cut fourth. Sunny Pearl set a genuine pace on the lead, cornered a length on top and was overhauled 100m out for a placing. Solar Kingdom was yielding ground passing the 200m.

Racing Incident Report

Race Seven: (695)-VACHERON CONSTANTIN HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1400Metres

After being loaded, FAIRY EAGLE became fractious.

Before being allowed to race again, FAIRY EAGLE will be required to perform satisfactorily in a stalls test.

PRINCE FALCON was slow to begin.

CIRCUIT LAND and CALIFORNIA CHERISH began only fairly.

WINDICATOR STAR began awkwardly.

From the outside barrier, KING OF MONGOLIA was steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners.

At the 500 Metres, HURRICANE KID was awkwardly placed close to the heels of FAIRY EAGLE.

Shortly after this, HURRICANE KID attempted to improve to the outside of FAIRLY EAGLE and momentarily raced tight at the entrance to the Straight between that horse and KING OF MONGOLIA.

CIRCUIT LAND and NOBLE ALPHA had difficulty obtaining clear running in the early part of the Straight.

In the early part of the Straight, PRINCE FALCON got its head on the side and lay out under pressure.

After the 100 Metres, SPICY SURE shifted out abruptly under pressure, resulting in its rider having to stop riding and straighten his mount.

Throughout the race, SPICY SURE travelled wide and without cover.

After the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that CIRCUIT LAND had sustained a wound to the inside of the left hind leg.

A veterinary inspection of SOLAR KINGDOM and CALIFORNIA CHERISH immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

AMAZING KIDS, SPICY SURE and CIRCUIT LAND were sent for sampling.
