Racing Incident Report
Race Four: (296)-MORETON HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1650Metres
ENDORSING, which began only fairly, shifted in shortly after the start and bumped RIYADH.WIN IT was bumped on jumping by CHEERS JOY which was taken in by OWNERS' GLORY.
Approaching the winning post on the first occasion, EVERYONE'S FORTUNE was awkwardly placed close to the heels of NO TIES.
Despite being vigorously ridden along in the early stages, SOUTHERN SPRINGS failed to muster speed and passing the winning post on the first occasion was shifted across behind runners to obtain cover.
Passing the winning post on the first occasion, ROBUST MOMENTUM and ENDORSING were briefly crowded for room inside VARA PEARL (M Guyon) which shifted in before being directed out to relieve the tightening.
M Guyon was advised to exercise more care.
Approaching the 1200 Metres, ROBUST MOMENTUM was awkwardly placed inside the heels of VARA PEARL which shifted in momentarily.
For some distance in the middle stages, ENDORSING was awkwardly placed close to the heels of GO GO WIN.
Near the 250 Metres, CHEERS JOY and ENDORSING raced tight.
After the 200 Metres, NO TIES was shifted to the inside of WIN IT after being disappointed for running outside that horse and inside GO GO WIN.
Near the 150 Metres, ENDORSING shifted in under pressure, resulting in CHEERS JOY racing in restricted room between ENDORSING and GO GO WIN for a short distance.
Throughout the race, VARA PEARL travelled wide and without cover and in the Straight gave ground.
A veterinary inspection of RIYADH, VARA PEARL and ROBUST MOMENTUM immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
NO TIES, GO GO WIN and WIN IT were sent for sampling.

Punted late, Go Go Win was nicely rated one-out, one-back on the back of the moderate pace of Hayhay, straightened three deep and got up 100m out for the win following a gear change to cheek pieces. Win It stalked the leader one off the rails, advanced to the front rounding the final bend and grudgingly gave way. Early favourite Cheers Joy travelled fourth from the rear, straightened five deep and out-finished Endorsing by a bob of heads for a placing. Endorsing recovered to travel one off in midfield following a sluggish break, swung the final bend with two wider out and ran on well to just miss a placing. He's starting to find his legs now and won't be far off a winning run over a mile or 1,800m. No Ties had every chance after switching off the heels of the eventual runner-up at the 200m following a box-seat run as the late-fancied favourite. Owners' Glory settled at the tail of the field from a tricky gate, angled into the clear with three wider out at the 200m and ran on reasonably well despite an unfavourable pace. Hayhay struggled over the final 200m to see out the mile. Robust Momentum straightened two from the right after a one-off run behind midfield and never fired.
