Favourite Contentment took the sit in third behind Double Dragon after jumping alertly from a wide gate, shifted three deep for a clear run at the 400m, swept to the front 220m out and drew clear in the late stages to remain unbeaten in two runs. Sugar City settled one off in midfield, swung the final bend with two wider out and ran on nicely to come out a clear second. Rugby Ambassador travelled fore of midfield and one off the rails, rallied five deep upon straight and just out-finished Grand Champion for third. Specked late Grand Champion ran on well near the inside after settling behind midfield along the fence following a tardy break. Razor Quest was steadied back to a position third from the rear at the 900m, pushed widest at the 420m and made up a good deal of ground late in an improved effort. Ah Bo was only grinding away three deep in the drive following a handy run along the rails. Mac Row straightened four deep and was one-paced over the final 200m.

Racing Incident Report

Race Five: (255)-KAM TSIN HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1400Metres

GREAT SPEED (M Chadwick) began awkwardly.

After the race, M Chadwick reported that as a result of the manner in which GREAT SPEED began, his saddle shifted, placing him at a disadvantage for the remainder of the race.

GRAND CHAMPION was slow to begin.

MARK TWO began awkwardly.

After the 1100 Metres, GRAND CHAMPION momentarily raced tight inside RAZOR QUEST.

Making the first turn after the 900 Metres, RAZOR QUEST commenced to prove very difficult to settle and got its head up on a number of occasions when awkwardly placed close to the heels of GREAT SPEED.

RAZOR QUEST then shifted out, resulting in MARK TWO being taken wider.

MARK TWO subsequently raced wide and without cover.

After the 800 Metres, LUCKY FOLLOW ME, which was proving difficult to settle, was checked away from the heels of GRAND CHAMPION.

After the 600 Metres, LUCKY FOLLOW ME dipped after shifting out and being awkwardly placed close to the heels of GREAT SPEED.

Shortly after the 400 Metres, GREAT SPEED was momentarily crowded for room between MARK TWO and LUCKY FOLLOW ME.

A veterinary inspection of MARK TWO and AH BO immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

CONTENTMENT and SUGAR CITY were sent for sampling.
