Racing Incident Report
Race One: (224)-OCEANIA HANDICAP - Class 5 - 1200Metres
NEW PET was slow to begin.P J HALL began awkwardly.
Despite being ridden along in the early stages, ENJOY THE FUN failed to muster speed.
From a wide barrier, BERNARD??S CHOICE was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Rounding the Home Turn, COSMO ONE was awkwardly placed close to the heels of FLYING RED.
ENJOY THE FUN was held up in the early part of the Straight and near the 250 Metres was shifted to the outside of P J HALL to obtain clear running after being disappointed for a run between that horse and TAI PO FORTUNE which was giving ground.
COSMO ONE was unable to obtain clear running until near the 100 Metres and consequently was not able to be properly tested until that point.
Close to the finishing line, P J HALL raced in restricted room between MR VANILLA and ENJOY THE FUN which shifted in.
Throughout the race, TAI PO FORTUNE travelled wide and without cover and in the Straight gave ground..
A veterinary inspection of MASSIVE and ENJOY THE FUN immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
TRILLION TREASURE, FLYING RED and EAGLE KING were sent for sampling.

Flying Red got into the box-seat at the 700m, came one off at the 200m and got up in the last stride for a maiden win at his 11 th outing. Eagle King stayed near the inside upon straightening after travelling fourth from the rear and finished willingly to get the bob in for second on the wire in an improved effort following a stable and gear change. Favourite Trillion Treasure rolled to the front from gate one, cornered nearly two lengths on top and was tippy-toeing 50m out to finish on the bottom of a blanket finish. Positive Energy eventually crossed from a wide gate to settle one off in midfield, straightened four deep and stayed on reasonably well. Bernard's Choice had three behind him coming to the final bend five deep and was doing some nice work late. New Pet made some progress near the inside after travelling second from the rear after jumping slowly. Enjoy The Fun made his run three deep and third from the rear from an awkward gate, switched off heels widest out for a clear run at the 200m and ran on without ever looking a threat. Cosmo One was held up behind the tiring Massive after travelling along the rail in midfield. Massive was stopping 150m out after stalking the leader one off the fence.
