Racing Incident Report
Race Seven: (043)-NGONG PING HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1650Metres
GOLDLAND DANCER began awkwardly.When left racing very wide passing the winning post on the first occasion, KING OF REASON was steadied and shifted across behind runners to obtain a position with cover passing the 1400 Metres.
Passing the 1300 Metres, GOLDLAND DANCER got its head up when awkwardly placed close to the heels of SUPREME ESSENCE.
Near the 1100 Metres, WEALTHY FORTUNE shifted in of its own accord and brushed the running rail.
After the 1100 Metres, MIGHTY K was left racing wide and without cover.
After the 500 Metres, GOLDLAND DANCER was awkwardly placed close to the heels of SUPREME ESSENCE.
Near the 450 Metres, WEALTHY FORTUNE lost ground when checked away from the heels of CRAZY BUDDIES which was giving ground.
At the entrance to the Straight, WEALTHY FORTUNE was then shifted in away from the heels of CRAZY BUDDIES which continued to give ground.
A veterinary inspection of WEALTHY FORTUNE and AXIOM immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
MIGHTY K and GOLDLAND DANCER were sent for sampling.

Firming late to jumping favourite, Mighty K was posted without cover three deep fore of midfield from gate four, swung the final bend with three wider out, hit the front 150m out and held off the late surge of Goldland Dancer to chalk up back-to-back wins following a midweek success on turf. Goldland Dancer made his run fourth from the rear near the inside after a slow break, shifted into clear running five deep soon after straightening and finished up nicely. Horse Aplenty had to work three deep from an awkward gate to eventually find the front 1,200m out, cornered a length on top and grudgingly gave way under pressure. Invictus was always punching the breeze in second from an outside gate and kept on reasonably well. Starting Over was effectively in the one-out, one-back position, straightened four deep and only held his ground. He's better at the Valley. Early favourite Supreme Essence settled one off in midfield, stuck to an inside run upon straightening and came up surprisingly one-paced over the final 150m in his first run after a stable change. Kitaya was ridden second from the rear and one off from the widest gate, peeled into the clear with one wider upon straightening and was doing some nice work late.
