The swimming is winding down, the track and field events are picking up, and we’re getting to the business end in tennis – how did we get seven days into the Olympics already?

While Hong Kong’s interest in the Games is now more about personal bests than gold, silver or bronze, there is still some history to be made too, and Chiu Hin-chun has done that in the D Final of the men’s single sculls.

He finished second and 20th overall, by any measure, that is some achievement.

China, meanwhile, are chasing an unexpected gold in the tennis mixed doubles, with Wang Xinyu and Zhang Zhizhen up against the Czech Republic’s Siniakova Katerina and Machac Thomas later.

Once again, there’s plenty going on in Paris, so join us for live coverage of day seven.
