Have we really been doing this for two weeks? Honestly, it feels longer.

Still, here we are, the final day of the Paris Olympics and what a ride it has been. The closing ceremony is just hours away and we still have medals to hand out.

In the race for first, China have moved onto 39, the USA are on 38 and there is every possibility the two nations could finish tied at the top of the medal table.

At one point last night China were four clear, so things have changed a bit while you were sleeping.

China dominating in table tennis and diving is nothing new, for many it comes with a shrug of the shoulders, but artistic swimming is a new sphere of influence for the would-be-table toppers.
