China’s diving “queen” Guo Jingjing recently announced she would once again be a judge for the Paris Olympic Games.
This marks her second stint in this role, following her debut at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
With a career spanning four consecutive Summer Games from 1996, when Guo was only 14, to 2008, this four-time Olympic gold medallist and 10-time world champion is considered one of China’s greatest Olympians.
Beyond her extraordinary achievements in the pool, Guo is also known for her marriage to Kenneth Fok Kai-kong, the grandson of Hong Kong tycoon Henry Fok Ying-tung and a vice-president of the city’s Sports Federation & Olympic Committee.
