ONE Championship: Superlek hires nutritionist before Haggerty rematch

Superlek Kiatmoo9 is moving up in weight to rematch Jonathan Haggerty at ONE 168, and he is taking a scientific approach to being ready for it.
The 28-year-old, who normally competes in the flyweight division, has hired a nutritionist, who is known as Hook, to help him make the move up to bantamweight.
Superlek previously told the Post in May he was worried about whether he would be big enough to face Haggerty by September.
It turns out that a solution emerged weeks later when Superlek enlisted the help of a sports scientist who has devised a plan.
“He joined my team in June,” Superlek said. “We’ve been working closely since. We’ve spent a lot of time together working on customised plans. We’re close.”
Haggerty holds the bantamweight Muay Thai title and will be putting it on the line in Denver next month.
