Aung La N Sang is a veteran of 19 ONE Championship fights and turns 40 next year. The middleweight from Myanmar knows he is coming towards the end of his career but recoils at the suggestion that he represents an “easy fight” for opponents.

That is exactly what upcoming opponent Shamil Erdogan said about him. The two men meet at ONE 168 next week and N Sang told the Post his opponent will not be in for an easy night in Denver.

“On social media he said I’m an easy fight. We’ll see,” N Sang said.

“I let my actions do the talking, I don’t need to say anything. I don’t think I’m an easy fight for anybody.”

While N Sang thinks that Erdogan might be underestimating him, he has a healthy respect for an opponent who is undefeated.

“He’s probably one of the better fighters that I’ve fought, if not the best fighter that I’ve fought – but he’s not the first undefeated Russian I’ve fought,” N Sang said.
