Danielle Kelly will put her atomweight submission grappling belt on the line against ONE Championship newcomer Maysaa Bastos in the latest title fight to be added to the ONE Fight Night 24 card on August 3 at Lumpinee Stadium.

For Kelly, it will be her first fight of the year, having beat Jessa Khan to win the belt at ONE Fight Night 14 and it will be her first defence.

She holds a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu record and is undefeated in the ONE Championship ring but will face a different type of challenge because Bastos has one of the most impressive resumes out of any female submission grappler.

The Brazilian has won the International Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federation world championships seven times, with her most recent success coming just last year. .

It is the second of two title clashes added to the event with the battle for the interim strawweight belt between former champion Jarred Brooks and Gustavo Balart the main event.

In MMA action Carlo Bumina-ang has been rewarded for his impressive form on the Friday Lumpinee cards with a long term ONE Championship contract. The 30-year-old left it relatively late in life to start focusing on his MMA career but has had an incredible year.

His reward is a spot on the ONE Fight Night 24 card and a bout with Muay Thai specialist Asa Ten Pow. Bumina-ang fought and won on a small local show in 2019 but then took a four-year break from competitive MMA.

He returned last year at ONE Friday Fights 27 and needed just 57 seconds to finish Reza Saedi and went on to win four more fights at the famous Lumpinee Stadium.

His record now stands at 6-0 and he will be looking to follow in the footsteps of Team Lakay legends like Eduard Folayang, Honorio Banario, Kevin Belingon, Geje Eustaquio and Joshua Pacio who all won ONE Championship titles while representing the Baguio based camp.

Folayang, Banario, Belingon and Pacio all left Team Lakay last year and Bumina-ang is part of a new generation of fighters that have replaced them and will be determined to make a big impression when he fights on Prime Video for the first time.

Ten Pow has competed in three Muay Thai fights for ONE Championship and has won two of them.
