- Petsukumvit Boi Bangna defeated Kongthoranee Sor Sommai by decision in the main event, and four fighters scored US$10,000 bonuses for stoppage wins
ONE Championship returned to Bangkok, Thailand’s famous Lumpinee Stadium on Friday evening, with 12 bouts contested under Muay Thai and MMA rules.
In the main event, a flyweight Muay Thai clash, Petsukumvit Boi Bangna defeated Kongthoranee Sor Sommai via unanimous decision. The win brought the 24-year-old to an impressive 3-0 in ONE after a decision win over Chorfah Tor. Sangtiennoi at ONE Friday Fights 3, and a knockout of Petchmuangsri Tded99 at ONE Friday Fights 8.
He did not receive a 350,000 baht (US$10,000 bonus) from ONE CEO Chatri Sityodtong for his latest win, but four other Thai fighters all earned bonus cheques for stoppage victories: Samingdam Looksuan, Zeta Chor Chokamnuay, Tubtimthong Sor Jor Lekmuangnon, and Dentungtong Singha Mawynn.

Flyweight Muay Thai: Petsukumvit Boi Bangna defeats Kongthoranee Sor Sommai via unanimous decision
Petsukumvit did everything he could to stop his fellow Thai Kongthoranee at ONE Friday Fights 12, but was unable to finish the fight inside three rounds. Still, the 24-year-old flyweight Muay Thai fighter is now 3-0 in ONE, and seemingly on the cusp of fights with the division’s best fighters.
Catchweight (130lbs) Muay Thai: Petlampun Muadablampang defeats Sunvo TDed99 via unanimous decision
Petlampun, 26, scored his second ONE win in Lumpinee on Friday, following up on a debut victory over Rambong Sor Therapat at ONE Friday Fights 8 with a unanimous-decision defeat of another Thai in Sunvo.
Flyweight Muay Thai: Dentungtong Singha Mawynn defeats Mohawk Ngorbangkapi via knockout at 1:56 of round two
Dentungton was the final bonus winner of ONE Friday Fights 12. The 21-year-old earned his extra check with a second-round stoppage of his countryman Mohawk Ngorbangkapi in a flyweight Muay Thai clash – and followed the win up with a spirited celebration.
Atomweight Muay Thai: Khunsuk Sor Dechapan defeats Kohtao Petsomnuk via unanimous decision
Khunsuk scored two knock-downs in his atomweight clash with fellow Thai Kohtai Petsomnuk, but had to settle for a unanimous-decision win when his foe refused to stay down. One way or the other, the future looks very bright for the 19-year-old, who built on the momentum of a knockout of Yodbuangarm Luckybuntherng in his ONE debut in February.
Catchweight (112lbs) Muay Thai: Tubtimthong Sor Jor Lekmuangnon defeats Petchnumchai Sor Jor Tongprachin via knockout at 1:50 of round one
Tubtimthong was one of the most impressive winners of ONE Friday Fights 12, as he knocked out his countryman Petchnumchai Sor Jor Tongprachin inside two minutes to earn a bonus. The victory marked a flawless – and lucrative – ONE debut for 22-year-old.
Catchweight (124lbs) Muay Thai: Zeta Chor Chokamnuay defeats Chalawan Ngorbangkapi via knockout at 1:55 of round one
Zeta Chor Chokamnuay also made quick work of his opponent at ONE Friday Fights 12, stopping Chalawan Ngorbangkapi with a punch-kick combo inside two minutes of their 124-pound catchweight Muay Thai clash. It was the 23-year-old’s first fight under the ONE banner, and he definitely made a splash.
Bantamweight Muay Thai: Rafi Bohic defeats Tapaokaew Singha Mawynn via split decision
31-year-old Frenchman Rafi Bohic had to work hard to win his bantamweight bout with 29-year-old Thai Tapaokaew Singha Mawynn, but ultimately walked away with a split-decision victory – his first fight under the ONE banner.
Bantamweight Muay Thai: Yodphupa Wimanair defeats Samuel Toscano via TKO at 2:20 of round one
19-year-old Thai Yodphupa Wimanair got the stoppage win he sought at ONE Friday Fights 12, but it was somewhat disappointing, as it came after he opened massive cut on his opponent Samuel Toscano’s head and the ringside doctor stopped the fight. Still, the win over the 34-year-old Italian pushed him to 2-o in ONE after he beat Ilyas Musaev in his debut.
Flyweight Muay Thai: Samingdam Looksuan defeats Javad Bigdeli via TKO at 1:33 of round three
The first bonus of the night went to 20-year-old Thai flyweight Samingdam Looksuan, who scored a highlight-reel victory over Iran’s Javad Bigdeli with a flying knee. He is now 2-0 in the ONE ring, having defeated Uzbekistan’s Shakhriyor Jurayev by unanimous decision in his debut in March.
Catchweight (110lbs) Muay Thai: Nongam Fairtex defeats Chu Nga Sze via knockout at 0:20 of round three
It was somewhat surprising that 28-year-old Thai Nongam Fairtex did not receive a bonus for her blistering one-punch KO of Hong Kong’s Chu Nga Sze. Nonetheless, she looks like she could make some waves in ONE – though she is seemingly quite undersized for even the promotion’s lightest women’s weight class, the 115-pound atomweight division.
Featherweight MMA: Nurzaman Eshbaev defeats Keanu Subba via unanimous decision
ONE Friday Fights 12 kicked off with two MMA bouts. The second saw Kyrgyzstan’s Nurzaman Eshbaev survive a knockdown to defeat ONE veteran Keanu Subba by unanimous decision. It was the 28-year-old’s first win in ONE, and an impressive one, considering Subba has already battled the likes of lightweight champ Christian Lee and former two-division champ Martin Nguyen.
Featherweight MMA: Do Gyeom-lee defeats Guilherme Antunes via TKO at 3:23 of round two
