Despite purists praying for their downfall, Jake and Logan Paul have taken the combat sports world by storm, the brothers from Ohio turning themselves from YouTube sensations to boxing’s elephants in the room.

While Logan Paul lasted all eight rounds with Floyd Mayweather Jnr – whom many consider the greatest boxer of all time – in an exhibition match in June, Jake Paul extended his undefeated professional record by knocking out Nate Robinson and Ben Askren with relative ease in his last two outings.

The critics have not held back, but former UFC light heavyweight champion Rashad Evans sees at least one of the siblings having continue success inside the squared circle.

“Logan is pretty decent but I’m kinda like … I think Jake can really fight, man,” Evans told SCMP MMA. “And one thing I like about Jake is he kinda has that fighter’s mentality a little bit.

“He’s a Disney kid. He’s kinda always joking and clowning around. But he’s got a dog in him, and I like that about him.”
