There’s no doubt a super fight between former light heavyweight champ “Bones” (26-1, one no contest) and “The Last Stylebender” (20-0) would be massive – the pair have been relentlessly feuding on Twitter, and it feels inevitable.

But Jones is in the process of a move up to heavyweight after vacating his belt, and UFC president Dana White confirmed Adesanya will challenge new 205-pound champ Jan Blachowicz (27-8) early next year.

Still, City Kickboxing’s Mike Angove is already concocting a game plan to face the former pound-for-pound No 1.

“We know he’s [Jones] had trouble with guys who’ve had good speed, who have been a similar height to him,” Angove told SCMP MMA. “He’s never faced a striker like Israel in terms of the quality of the opponent with the ability to make the reads. A guy who probably has more versatility in striking than he does.”

“He’s [Adesanya] an artist as much as he’s a fighter. He was also a graphic designer before he became a fighter, and you can see that in some of the work that he does. He’s a very creative guy. He’s was a dancer, and he’s a model. And he’s actually very smart.
