Conor McGregor’s self-determined greatest of all time (GOAT) rankings has caused the likes of Jon Jones and Khabib Nurmagomedov to immediately push back with some social media trolling.

The UFC’s youngest champion Jones took to Twitter to address McGregor, who put himself just behind Anderson Silva and in front of Jones and George St Pierre.
“And still ... Try that one first lad,” light-heavyweight champion Jones tweeted with a shush emoji, presumably taking a dig at McGregor’s decision to fight across the featherweight, lightweight and welterweight divisions instead of defending one title.
Jones, who has been campaigning for a move up to fight heavyweight Francis Ngannou, added, “I’m not going to debate on who is the [GOAT], I’ll let the fans do that for me ... Damn how did I go from Francis to [Conor]?”
Jones then tweeted a screenshot of a list entitled “most wins in UFC title bouts”, in which Jones is the outright leader, followed by St Pierre, Demetrious Johnson and Silva. Jones commented, “[GOAT] where you at” with a shamrock and shrugging emoji.
