Khabib Nurmagomedov has got no time for Conor McGregor’s latest rantings.

The former featherweight and lightweight champion posted a series of tweets targeting Nurmagomedov and Justin Gaethje, and their Dominance MMA manager Ali Abdelaziz, as well as Tony Ferguson and Dustin Poirier after the dramatic events of UFC 249.

“It’s me and Justin next as Khabib is the biggest bottle fighter in the game. Guarantee it,” McGregor wrote following Gaethje’s TKO win vs Ferguson. “Justin, there is no danger in a man that hugs legs, we all know.

“Khabib you absolute embarrassment. Scurrying, hiding rat as usual,” he added. “As I have said many times. As has been seen many times. Through the pane of glass it was confirmed what was always known. ‘No comment’ lol. An embarrassment to real fighting.”

Presumably lost for words, Nurmagomedov had simply tweeted “No comment” immediately after Gaethje’s shock win over Ferguson, whom the Russian was originally set to face on April 19. The coronavirus pandemic put paid to the highly anticipated match-up for the fifth time.
