Colby Covington has understandably been keeping a low profile since his fifth-round TKO by welterweight champion Kamaru Usman at UFC 245 last month.

The usually outspoken and controversial Covington has barely opened his mouth – maybe something to do with having to get his broken jaw wired shut – and it seems he’s not been seen at the American Top Team (ATT) gym in Florida either.

But that might have more to do with him trash talking his ATT teammates and former friends Jorge Masvidal and Dustin Poirier.

“Who?” Masvidal asked, laughing, when asked by ESPN’s Ariel Helwani if Covington had been seen at the gym. “No, for real, the dude that got his jaw broken.

“D’s [Dustin Poirier] gonna get upset that I’m even saying this, because this is like locker room talk. He’s like, ‘Yo man, where the f*** is Colby?’ I go, ‘Bro, don’t even worry about it, because he’s on a witness protection program. When you see this dude, you can’t even touch him’.
