Facing Amy Pirnie in an atomweight Muay Thai bout that opened the show, she was stopped inside the opening minute.

Pui had won six ONE Championship fights in a row coming into this contest and there was talk of a title shot, but was knocked out here with a left hook.

Pui has won fans due to her aggressive style and likes to constantly pressurise opponents. It backfired badly here as she walked straight into a devastating show from the Scottish fighter, who was returning to the ring after a three-year absence.

Meanwhile, Jarred Brooks submitted Gustavo Balart in the opening round to claim the interim strawweight title – and was also awarded a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) black belt in the immediate aftermath of the victory.
