Rodtang Jitmuangnon promises Denis Puric ‘hell on earth’ in their ONE 167 bout on Saturday
- The Thai has not fought since a loss last September but is aiming for another performance bonus by seeing off his Canadian opponent quickly
Thai fighters do not traditionally engage in trash talk. But Rodtang Jitmuangnon is clearly ready to make an exception for Denis Puric and warned his opponent he is in for a torrid time on Saturday.
“He will see hell on earth this Saturday.”
Puric’s ability to cut a promo is probably what secured him this fight, a flyweight kickboxing bout at ONE 167. In the aftermath of his win over Jacob Smith at ONE Fight Night 21, all the Canadian wanted to talk about was Rodtang.
The media lapped it up and days later the match-up was signed and sealed.
Speaking at the press conference, Rodtang made it clear he was aware of what Puric had been saying about him.
“I know that Denis has been calling me out many, many times and everybody has the right to call someone out, especially Denis, who has been making very good performances.
