The Dane showed some of the form that brought him a second successive Olympic gold in Paris last month, as he dispatched Ng 21-11, 21-12 at Hong Kong Coliseum.

Earlier, Ng’s fellow Hongkonger Lee Cheuk-yiu, who also featured at the Paris Games, managed a 21-18, 21-19 victory over China’s Lu Guangzu.
