- Deal between PCCW Media and beIN Sports secures Uefa Europa League, Uefa Youth League and new Uefa Conference League
- New agreement for select matches kicks off in September and runs through to the end of the 2023-24 season
Hong Kong football fans can look forward to three more seasons of Uefa Champions League action after the first broadcast rights for matches were confirmed by Now TV.
PCCW Media and beIN Sports have agreed a deal to show select matches on Now TV until the end of the 2023-24 tournament.
The deal will see live coverage of Uefa Champions League, Uefa Europa League, the new Uefa Europa Conference League and the Uefa Youth League starting in September.
“We are pleased to extend our collaboration with beIN Sports,” PCCW Media Pay TV head Derek Choi said in a press release announcing that Now TV is the first platform in Hong Kong to reach an agreement.
Broadcast rights for Uefa club competitions stopped being exclusive in 2018, with iCable and Now TV sharing matches.
