Introduction
The Cathay Pacific/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens takes place at Hong Kong Stadium from April 5-7.
This year is the 44th edition of the famous tournament and it will see record title holders – and last year’s winners – Fiji return along with the World Sevens Series leading USA side.
Aside from the main tournament, there is also the World Series Qualifier competition, with the prize of a place at the top table next year on offer.
The women’s tournament will also act as a qualifier for next year’s Women’s Series, with the knockout games taking place in Hong Kong Stadium on Friday.
