Kitchee boss Ken Ng Kin challenged his players to scale even greater heights after watching his side capture their fourth top-flight soccer championship in five years yesterday.

Despite a 3-2 defeat by YFCMD in their last BOCG Life Hong Kong Premier League match at Sham Shui Po Sports Ground, Kitchee were still able to lift the inaugural Premier League trophy with a three-point advantage over second-placed Eastern, who lost 3-0 to South China at Mong Kok Stadium.

Coupled with their success in the League Cup, Kitchee are gearing for a treble season as they will meet Eastern in the FA Cup final next Sunday.

But Ng is already looking ahead to next season as they will be competing in the 2016 AFC Champions League for the second time as the new league champions.

"We lost in the qualifying round this year after just one match and, of course, we want a better result next year," said Ng. "The players have enjoyed great success in the domestic season, but we always aim high and want Kitchee to become a force to be reckoned with in the region.
