Hong Kong’s top golfer is 9-under par overall after two rounds in the US, dropping down from a share of fourth place to a share of 20th going into the weekend.

The 25-year-old recovered from a bogey on the first hole with a birdie at the third, and finished the front nine by picking up another stroke.

Chan looked to be gaining steam after birdieing the par-4 11th but dropped another shot at the 14th to come in 1-under par for her second round.
