For me heading into Gameweek 9 of Fantasy Premier League, it was all about stopping the rot – and with 75 points and a fat green arrow, it was mission accomplished.
My big performers were once again Chris Wood (£6.4m) and Bryan Mbeumo (£7.7m), who both scored two, and Mohamed Salah (£12.7m), who got me 10 points.
My choice to play Virgil van Dijk (£6.1m) against Arsenal paid off – even though Liverpool conceded two – as the Dutchman scored from a corner.
Heading into Gameweek 10, talk within the FPL community is centred on whether to sell Erling Haaland (£15.4m).
Sell Halaand?
The Norwegian scored in the first five minutes of Manchester City’s 1-0 win against Southampton to end a four-game drought but has been transferred out by 80,000 managers.
Most active FPL players will still have him for the feasible future and he will also most likely have the captain’s armband.
So why is he being transferred out?
Halaand, who has scored 75 points this season, is returning 4.9 points for every million he costs. Wood, on the other hand, is 9.2 points per million and Brighton’s Danny Welbeck (£5.9m) is 9.7.
Also, City have a tough run of games. From Gameweek 11 onwards, they have fixtures against Spurs and Liverpool sandwiched between Brighton and high-flying Nottingham Forest.
Selling Halaand could pave the way for a midfield made up of Salah, Cole Palmer (£11m) and Bukayo Saka (£10.0m).
Also, cheaper forward options such as Wood, Welbeck and Nicolas Jackson (£7.9m) have all scored over 50 points.
If you are going to sell Halaand, remember that bringing him back requires two transfers, so make your decision and stick to it until at least Gameweek 18, when City’s fixtures get better.
I say wait until after this week’s game against Bournemouth before doing it, as City have scored 15 goals against the Cherries in the past four meetings.

Start buying Chelsea players
Chelsea's fixtures are unreal after this week’s visit to Manchester United and next week’s game against Arsenal.
Aside from the odd game against the usual big clubs here and there, the Blues’ fixtures look amazing right up until the last day of the season.
The obvious signings are Palmer and Jackson, but it is worth keeping an eye on Reece James (£4.9m). The injury-prone defender, who played only his second game of the season last week, could be a cheap differential.
Chelsea have kept only two clean sheets this season, but James is known to offer attacking returns.
Lars’ line-up
Matz Sels (£4.6m), who returned again last week, is in the net and behind a back three of Michael Keane (£4.2m), van Dijk and Pedro Porro (£5.5m).
In midfield we have Mbeumo, Emile Smith Rowe (£5.7m), Salah (c) and Morgan Rogers (£5.4m).
Halaand, Wood and Dominic Solanke (£7.7m) are my forwards. However, another Solanke blank and I am likely to transfer him. But that is a conversation for next week.
