Another week and another green arrow in Fantasy Premier League (FPL) for Various Artists as my team jumps from 90,630th in the world to 57,621st.
My 61-point haul marks the fifth week in a row that I have climbed up the rankings, but all that glitters is not gold with three players having contributed 48 points from my Gameweek 4 total.
A goal and a clean sheet for Gabriel (£6.0m) in Arsenal’s 1-0 win over Tottenham earned him 15 points. The defender was the first name on my substitutes bench and came on for the injured Brighton striker Joao Pedro (£5.7m).
Erling Haaland (£15.2m) bagged two goals and my late switch to captain him scored me 26 points.
But aside from Emile Smith Rowe’s seven points against West Ham, all my remaining players blanked.
Injury dilemmas, selection headaches and potential price drops are all causing me sleepless nights in the build-up to Gameweek 5.

Isak and Eze out?
Alexander Isak (£8.4m) has already dropped in price once this season and the Newcastle forward was subbed off at half-time because of an eye injury.
The Sweden forward has only one goal and one assist this season and with games against Manchester City, Brighton, Chelsea and Arsenal on the horizon, it is no surprise more than 330,000 FPL managers have transferred him out.
Brighton’s Pedro is also on the way out the door for many with his injury concerns and a tough fixture list.
The obvious replacement up top is Ollie Watkins (£8.9m) who scored a brace against Everton at the weekend and has good fixtures on the horizon. However, most people will need two transfers to bring him in.
A cheaper option, and definitely the more fun one, is Jamie Vardy (£5.7m). The 37-year-old has two goals so far this season and Leicester face bottom side Everton next.
Although Eberechi Eze (£6.9m) is not one of the most transferred players out this week, the fact that Jean-Phillipe Mateta (£7.4m) took Crystal Palace’s penalty in the 2-2 draw over Leicester means he is not as good a prospect as initially thought.
Eze is by no means a must-sell right now, but not taking spot kicks means he is definitely one to keep an eye on if his form does not improve.

Blow for Brentford
It was bad news for Brentford as Yoane Wissa (£6.1m) has been ruled out until late November with an ankle injury. The forward was in great form, scoring 28 points so far.
Following the clash with Tottenham in Gameweek 5, Brentford have a glorious run of fixtures that had a lot of managers targeting moves for Wissa and Bryan Mbeumo (£7.1m).
However, Wissa’s injury could mean that FPL players have the chance to bag a midfielder, priced at £5.4m, who will actually play up front.
Kevin Schade replaced Wissa on Saturday, joining Mbeumo in the two-man attack. Form and fitness permitting, I expect this to be the front two for the Bees in Gameweek 5.
Gameweek 5 selection

I am not going to lie, I really do not like my Gameweek 5 team. But I only have one transfer available and several fires to put out.
I am currently lining up with Nottingham Forest’s Matz Sels (£4.5m) in goal and Pedro Porro (£5.5m), Antonee Robinson (£4.7m) and Virgil van Dijk (£6.0m) in defence.
Mohamed Salah (£12.7m) and Smith Rowe will be in my midfield, but problems stem from the inconsistent Eze and concerns over Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo (£5.6m) with Liverpool away next. My backup midfielder, Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers (£5.1m) has done nothing in terms of FPL all season.
And it does not get better when we go to my strikers: Haaland, Isak and Pedro are my front three, despite injury concerns over the latter two.
If they do not feature, Rogers and Wout Faes (£4.1m) will be subbed in automatically. Gabriel, who visits Man City on Sunday, is my last sub, for obvious reasons.
