Ex-NBA star Jeremy Lin ‘feeling a lot better’ after Covid-19 positive ahead of Chinese basketball return

Former NBA star Jeremy Lin has updated his fans on his progress after testing positive for Covid-19 on his return to China from the US, saying that he hopes to return to hotel quarantine soon.

Lin flew to Shanghai from San Francisco earlier this month and tested positive on his third day of quarantine despite being double vaccinated and having two negative tests prior to departure.

“Whatuppp everyone,” Lin wrote in an Instagram post. “Its been a bit. Im feeling a lot better and am continuing to appreciate the care out here in Shanghai.

“Its been a time of recovery, self-reflection and rest. As soon as I test consistently negative I leave the covid facility to restart my 14 day hotel quarantine,” he wrote. Lin will turn 33 next week.

 

Lin has returned to China after re-signing for the Beijing Ducks in the Chinese Basketball Association.

The 32-year-old played for the Beijingers in the 2019-20 season taking them to the play-offs before returning to the US last year to take another shot at playing in the NBA.
