After NBA snub, Jeremy Lin returns to China with Beijing Ducks – ‘No regrets about the past’

NBA free agent Jeremy Lin is returning to China to play for the Beijing Ducks next season, a move he confirmed on social media.

“Beijing Shougang, I’m back!” the 32-year old told fans in Chinese on Weibo. Shougang are the owners of the Chinese Basketball Association’s Ducks. He also told fans that “we will meet soon”.
Lin, who had attempted to make an NBA comeback this season after spending the 2019-20 season in the Chinese Basketball Association with the Ducks, penned a lengthier message on his Instagram account.

“No regrets about the past, excited for the future. Still got a lot of basketball left in me and we’ll see where this road goes. Beijing Ducks, excited to be back this upcoming season! Thank you all for going on this journey with me,” he wrote.

 
Despite impressing in the NBA G League with the Santa Cruz Warriors, Lin was not offered a contract by an NBA team.
