OVO puts natural textures and Nordic minimalism on show at Horizon Plaza in Hong Kong
Fresh designs from the OVO team draw from Nordic simplicity and make use of natural textures
OVO inspires this season with urban and fresh designs. The company was founded in 2000, but it wasn’t until 2004 that it opened its flagship store in Wan Chai’s Queen’s Road East. In the meantime, its offshoot, OVO ventures, has emerged, with outlets throughout Hong Kong which include OVOGARDEN, OVOCAFE, and W Hotels The Store operated by OVO.
OVOSTUDIO opened in Horizon Plaza (22/F) in 2011, and was joined by OVOHOME in the same building (5/F) in 2016.
OVOHOME offers custom-made furniture that blends Western and Eastern aesthetics seamlessly. If you are looking for modern Chinese and Asian furnishings, lacquerware, sculptures, lighting and fixtures, you will be sure to find them in OVO’s showrooms.
This spring/summer, the creative team behind some of the brand’s most exquisite designs is giving us cool tones and wood grains as key features for the season. These features, when combined with metallic accessories, bring warmth and a hint of luxury to the cosmopolitan home. This season’s style is pervasive throughout OVO’s vast range of products, including its sofas, chairs, tables, cabinets and shelves, bedroom furniture, living room accessories and other items of home décor. One eye-catcher is its set of coffee tables cut from a tree trunk.
“It features different furniture from around the world – mainly natural wood furniture, creating a more natural and relaxing style for our customers,” the brand says of its collection.
