Celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, SUNWELL offers comprehensive services in textiles, apparel and retail. Aside from manufacturing products for its own sales and distribution, SUNWELL also offers contract manufacturing services to private labels. It serves more than 5,000 customers in Japan and overseas.
SUNWELL’s team of talented in-house designers creates fresh designs and helps the company in customising products according to client specifications. By keeping a close eye on trends, SUNWELL has built a rich textile inventory — 1,500 products with 20,000 colours ranging from natural to synthetic fibres. The extensive assortment of fabrics and apparel allows SUNWELL to guarantee shorter turnaround times since stocks are readily available.
“Time is an important factor in the fashion field. We resolve the time gap by keeping a running stock at our own account. In this way, we can serve both the small and big customers,” says Jiro Imaizumi, president.
One of SUNWELL’s most important markets is China. Home to many mid-level and high-end emerging brands, China has grown from being one of the production bases to one of the biggest customers. SUNWELL has established an office and a showroom in Shanghai to serve local customers directly.
