When companies plan to enter Asia, they only have a handful of cities to choose from when deciding where to situate their headquarters. Luckily, Hong Kong is one of those on their shortlist. Now the question is how we can make companies pick us ahead of the others.

Once a company sets up its headquarters in Hong Kong, its talent will be here for a while. Let’s not get this wrong.

Hong Kong is, in fact, very competitive in attracting businesses. Almost all in the business world agree that Hong Kong offers a highly ideal business environment, including world-class infrastructure and a wide range of premises for business and technology firms.

They are also attracted to Hong Kong’s low set-up costs and vast network of service providers. Company registration is simple and can be done in merely around 10 days.

Making it easy to do business is working as far as drawing businesses to the city is concerned, and we must continue to do that. Needless to say, no business would pick a place where it finds it hard to operate.
