US President Donald Trump on Monday began issuing a raft of expected executive actions on immigration, energy and other issues, moving swiftly on some of his campaign pledges mere hours after being sworn in for a second term.

Among the 46 issued on Monday, 10 had to do with immigration and six were related to climate and energy.

Cracking down on illegal migration and “climate extremism” while championing an “America-first” stance were cornerstones of Trump’s presidential election campaign.

As one of his first orders signed in the Capital One Arena on Monday, Trump revoked 78 of Joe Biden’s executive actions, before making his way to the Oval Office to sign more.

Some of his orders are largely symbolic, while others may be blocked by the courts.
