A 10-car accident on Hong Kong’s Tsing Ma Bridge has left one person injured, with authorities closing some airport-bound lanes.
Police said the accident at around 11.48am on Saturday mostly involved private cars. Pictures circulating online showed taxis also appeared to be caught up in the crash.
One person sustained minor neck injuries, and at least one ambulance was on site.
The Transport Department had closed some lanes on the airport-bound portion of the bridge.
The lower section of the Lantau Link remained open, while the airport-bound fast lane of Nam Wan Tunnel was closed to traffic, the department said.
The bridge and Nam Wan Tunnel fully reopened at 2pm, it said.
The link comprises the Tsing Ma Bridge, Kap Shui Mun Bridge and Ma Wan Viaduct.
