The operator of the cable car ride said on its website: “Ngong Ping 360 announces that cable car boarding has been temporarily suspended due to lightning. Boarding will resume when the adverse weather conditions have subsided.”
The city has been drenched by wet weather since Thursday evening, which included an amber rainstorm warning issued at 9.50pm and in place for almost two hours.
