2 winning tickets share record Hong Kong Mark Six jackpot of HK$138 million

Each winner takes home HK$69,234,020 after punters earlier packed Jockey Club betting branches for a shot at record prize

Two winning tickets split Hong Kong’s record Mark Six jackpot of more than HK$138 million (US$17.7 million) on Tuesday night, after the lottery drew nearly HK$330 million in turnover.

Each winner takes home HK$69,234,020 after punters packed Hong Kong Jockey Club betting branches citywide earlier in the day for a shot at the record prize.

The numbers drawn were 8, 13, 18, 23, 31 and 47. The extra number was 16.

Fourteen tickets took the second prize, with each winner pocketing HK$844,560. The third prize was won by 651.5 tickets, with each taking HK$48,390.

The total turnover was HK$328,821,743.

After the New Year Snowball draw on Thursday went without a first-prize winner, the jackpot had reached more than HK$138 million for a single HK$10 winning unit.
