Hong Kong man, 20, arrested for allegedly indecently assaulting 8 girls in single morning
Two teenagers reported cases to police, with suspect alleged to have indecently assaulted at least six more girls on the same morning
A 20-year-old man has been taken into custody for allegedly indecently assaulting at least eight girls in school uniform in the same Hong Kong district.
Authorities received separate reports from two secondary school pupils, aged 14 and 16, who said a man had hugged them from behind and touched their chests on Kweilin Street and Fuk Wah Street in Sham Shui Po on Thursday morning before running away.
Inspector Leung Kin-pui from the Sham Shui Po district criminal squad said on Sunday that the man had allegedly indecently assaulted at least six more girls in uniform on the same morning.
The suspect’s acts were caught in footage from security cameras installed by the government recently.
The man was located and arrested in a flat on Fuk Wah Street, with officers seizing the clothes he was wearing at the time of the alleged indecent assaults.
