Hundreds of residents and visitors gathered at the airport’s arrival hall in the morning for the exhibition, which includes a replica of a 6.5-metre-high (22-foot-high) double-storey set from Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In.

The installation, which showcases key scenes from the blockbuster film, has already become a popular spot for travellers to pose for selfies.

Chief Executive John Lee Ka-chiu said authorities would tailor new tourism resources and products to suit travellers’ tastes.

The government would also actively promote an “anywhere in Hong Kong” tourism concept to provide more in-depth, unique travel and event-based experiences, said Lee, who officiated at the exhibition’s opening ceremony.

“The government will continue to develop tourism projects themed around local films to attract more tourists and promote Hong Kong’s film culture. Efforts are being made to enhance the appeal of various tourist destinations,” Lee said.
